To provide a quality education in the particular field chosen by the athlete and to have a positive experience in the athlete’s career.  We want our student/athletes to remember their time at CNCC with fond memories in the class and with their chosen sport.  Supporting all this is the community of Rangely, which will leave a positive lasting impression.

 

Scenic West Athletic Conference:  Region 18 is quite possibly the overall toughest in the nation.  Western Nevada and Southern Nevada are perennial powerhouses in baseball, while Northern and Southern Idaho have had a choke hold on men’s and women’s basketball.  Snow College is ranked nationally in football year after year, and Salt Lake plays tough in volleyball and softball.  Athletes who choose to make CNCC their home will come away stronger athletes competing in the SWAC.

SWAC competition is the finest in the nation, so expectations are very high.  Student/athletes must be strong in the classroom and in their playing areas.  When athletes look back on their careers at CNCC, they will be able to say that they competed against the very best.
