Summer Dinosaur Digs

While many people only dream of taking part in a dinosaur excavation, through Colorado Northwestern Community College that dream can become a reality. Located in the heart of dinosaur country CNCC offers you the chance to work alongside professional paleontologists to uncover fossils that have been buried for over 65 million years.

During a two-week session you will learn about paleontology by digging, brushing, and uncovering a unique fossilized specimen. There is no experience required to take advantage of this amazing opportunity, only a passion for experiencing fossils up close and personal.

CNCC offers optional housing for our participants in our campus dormitories. Participants also have the option to earn college credit during their two-week session.

What will you discover this summer?
