Changes of Schedule
Students are expected to
arrange their academic schedule carefully and maintain this schedule
throughout the semester. Necessary schedule changes are to be initiated
through the Admissions and Records Office in conjunction with the permission
of the student's advisor and the instructor of the course affected by the
schedule change.
Students may add or drop courses from their schedules during the first 15
percent of the course meetings. Dropped courses within this time period will
not be reflected on a student's transcripts and come with a 100-percent
tuition refund.
Students may withdraw from a course any time through 80 percent of the
course without penalty, and the grade assigned will be "W." Courses dropped
after this time will result in a grade of "F" for the course. If extenuating
circumstances exist, the Vice President of Instruction may change the "F"
grade to "W." No refund is granted for classes from which a student
withdraws.
