Withdrawal from the College
A student who decides to leave the college
during a semester must make formal application to the Vice President of
Instruction for permission to do so. If permission is granted, the student
is obligated to comply in full with established clearance procedures. Until
the Registrar certifies the withdrawal to be complete, no refunds can be
made and no transcripts will be issued.
A
statement of honorable dismissal will be given upon request if the student's
status regarding conduct, character, and scholarship is such as to permit
continued enrollment at the college.
A student who withdraws
from the College after the last day to withdraw from a course in any given
semester will receive a "W" or an "F" in each course, depending upon his/her
status in that course at the time of withdrawal. For any course in which the
student has a passing average at the time of withdrawal, he/she will receive
the grade of "W." For any course in which the student is not making
satisfactory progress at the time of withdrawal, he/she will receive the
grade of "F."
