Colorado Northwestern Community College is excited to bring the Massage Therapy Program to beautiful Northwest Colorado. This two semester program will lead to an occupational certificate. Massage therapy has become more of an integral part of mainstream and holistic health practices. Massage therapy is being called upon as a means for treating a wide variety of ailments. Most Massage Therapy classes – those with a MST prefix will be offered Friday evening and all day Saturday every other weekend for both fall and spring semester. The remainder of the courses for this program will be offered during the week. Second semester students will participate in clinical practice and hours will vary.
This program will allow you to study for nine months and meet the requirements for certification in the state of Colorado. Next fall our curriculum will be updated to reflect not only the state of Colorado standards but those of The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB).
Whether you live in the scenic Yampa Valley or desire to study in this spectacular part of the Rocky Mountains our Massage Therapy Program will allow you to gain the skills necessary to join one of the fastest growing occupations available.
Attending Colorado Northwestern Community College in scenic Northwest Colorado provides a wonderful opportunity to students who want to study and enjoy the great outdoors. We are located 45 minutes from the world class ski resort of Steamboat Springs. Craig is known as the Elk Hunting Capital of the World. Local residents and visitors participate in unparalleled fly fishing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing.
We are currently in the design stage of a new residential living facility. This will be the first residence hall in Craig. Typically the most expensive component of on campus living is the meal plan that students must participate in. Our new facility will have kitchen units to reduce this cost of attending college.
