Power Failures

• If a power failure occurs in your area and there are no other emergencies such as fire, explosion, etc., remain in your office/ classroom and await information and instructions from the Safe Campus Coordinator Department.
• Turn off all electrical equipment (computer, lights, fan, coffee pot, copy machine, etc.) if possible.
• There are emergency lights throughout the buildings. They will provide light for approximately a half hour.
• If another emergency, such as fire, is also evident, activate the fire alarm system by pulling down on the handle of the nearest red fire pull box and evacuate the building.
