Rodeo - Coaching Staff

Head Rodeo Coach jed [dot] moore [at] cncc [dot] edu (Jed Moore) Employee Directory has been involved with rodeo for over half of his life.

Raised in Cheyenne, WY, he had the world’s largest outdoor rodeo Cheyenne Frontier Days in his backyard.  Competing up through Jr. Rodeo, High School Rodeo, Collegiate Rodeo, and 13 years of Professional Rodeo, Moore has a solid foundation of rodeo knowledge to pass onto his student athletes.  A graduate of the University of Wyoming, Moore utilizes his degree in Physical Education to relate and break down rodeo skills in ways many coaches do not.

In only his 2nd year of coaching CNCC Rodeo, Coach Moore was selected by his peers as the 2013 Rocky Mountain Region Coach of the Year.

Assistant Rodeo Coach, paige [dot] yore [at] cncc [dot] edu (Paige Yore) Employee Directory, began her coaching career at Colorado Northwestern Community College in the Fall of 2013. Yore grew up in Twin Falls, Idaho to a rodeo family that has deep roots in the sport. Surrounded by many of the top cowboys and cowgirls in the circuit, Yore grew very fond of the rodeo community and lifestyle. Competing through Junior Rodeos, High school Rodeos, Amateur Rodeos, and Colligate Rodeos she started her rodeo career.

From the very beginning of Yore’s childhood, she was preparing to be a teacher and a rodeo athlete. After years of preparation, she took the job here at CNCC as Assistant Rodeo Coach. “What an amazing opportunity to teach and coach rodeo, my two greatest passions ever since I can remember,” she says. Yore uses her knowledge of the sport, networking, and her degree in Public Relations to its fullest ability with her student athletes.

Paige’s hard work, dedication, and intensity are a perfect complement to the CNCC Spartan Rodeo team.
