Computer Labs
Colorado
Northwestern Community College has several computer labs located throughout campus.
The Ross and Holland Residence Halls have small computer
labs with high speed Internet access. An updated technology building
will feature three networked labs with Pentium IV computers
and flat screen monitors. The Library also has
24 networked computers. All computers on CNCC's campus run Microsoft
Windows XP and Office XP.
On the CNCC - Craig campus
there are 2 main computer labs, Lab 1 hosts 22 computers,
while Lab 2 hosts 18 computers. In the back of ALAP there
are an additional set of 8 computers. All labs come equipped
with B/W laser printers, color printers, and scanners. CD-RW
devices are available in Labs 1 & 2. An ADA computer is
available for persons with disabilities.
Student Network
Accounts
All students at CNCC need a computer
account to log on to computers in the labs and access
network resources. Student accounts are created after
registration. An account can also be requested through
the CNCC Library.
Student Email Accounts
CNCC now offers college student email accounts. For
information on how to
set up an account for current students go to CNCC Student Email Accounts.
Phones in the Residence
Halls
Students can dial the three digit
extension to reach any phone on campus. To dial
outside numbers student's must first dial 9 and then the
number. Phones are restricted to local calls. To
make long distance calls, students must use a calling card.
We recommend students do not use 2.4 GHz wireless phones
because they interfere with Wireless Internet Services offered in the residence halls.
