Access World News: Research Collection
Research unique current and archived news content for information on topics, events, issues, people, businesses, and more through this in-depth resource. Easy online access to local, in-state, national and international news sources, including newspapers, broadcast transcripts, newswires, news blogs, news web-only content and video. Alerts and "my personal" functionality helps students and faculty track and manage their research projects. 

Winnebago/Spectrum 5: (CNCC Online Card Catalog) (This database provides access to the CNCC Library Collection.) We have approximately 27,989 items, which includes Books, Serials, Videos, DVD's, Music Cassettes and CD's, Talking Books on Cassette and CD's, plus PS2 and XBOX Videogames.

EBSCOhost:(This web site is available on the CNCC Intranet). This Online Periodical Database provides access to OCLC First Search/EBSCO, Academic Search Premier, Health Source Premier, PsycArticles, and Business, MLA Psychology Articles, and Psychology Information, Plus CINAHL for nursing. (remote access available for students).

Wilson's Omnifile:  Full Text Select Edition is a multidisciplinary, 100% full-text database providing full text articles, with their accompanying indexing and abstracts, from the following Wilson periodical databases: Art Full Text, Applied Science & Technology Full Text, Biological & Agricultural Index, Education Full Text, General Science Full Text, Humanities Full Text, Index to Legal Periodicals & Books, Library Literature & Information Science Full Text, Readers' Guide Full Text, Social Sciences Full Text, Wilson Business Full Text. Coverage begins in 1994.

offers over 3 million articles from 1400+ journals, the combined output of all Wiley-Blackwell peer-reviewed primary research and survey journals, more than half of which are published in partnership with prestigious international scholarly and professional associations. Our portfolio covers the full spectrum of science, medicine, technology, business, social sciences, and the humanities, and includes many titles ranked at the forefront of their fields. Browse by title or subject area through the listings above, or Search for a specific title or article using the search tool to the right. Table of Contents and Article Abstracts may be viewed online free of charge. For access to full-text content, flexible licensing options are available for institutional libraries and individual researchers.

NewsBank (Access World News) The electronic editions of record for valuable local, regional, and national U.S. newspapers as well as full-text content of key international sources -- all in one easy-to-search database with a world map. Each provides unique coverage of local and regional news, including companies, politics, sports, industries, cultural activities, and people in the community, as well as a distinctive focus offering a variety of viewpoints on local and world issues. Paid ads are excluded.

Academic Universe from Lexis-Nexis: (This web site is available on the CNCC Intranet Page. This database provides information on news, business, legal research, and medical topics.)

EJS consolidates over 8,000 e-journals from all major publishers, covering practically all disciplines. E-Books: (Over 7,400 electronic books on a variety of subjects at the College reading level.) Click and Create your own access.

Encyclopedia Britannica Online: (This web site is available on the CNCC Intranet. This database provides access to the Encyclopedia Britannica online as well as the Britannica Internet Guide and Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary.)

Aclin: (This web site has unrestricted access.) It provides access to information to Libraries all over Colorado.

TurnItIn.com (This online program is used for the English composition classes. Students electronically turn in their completed compositions.)

Medscape: search service to access the 9 million citations in MEDLINE and Pre-MEDLINE (with links to participating online journals), and other related databases. Some Full-text articles.

PubMed: Access to abstracts, citations, and some full-text articles. User Name and Password is available at the circulation desk.
