What does having an Associate’s mean?  For some, it may mean running an office.  For others, it might mean a stepping-stone to becoming a Certified Public Accountant or the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a major corporation. Still others dream of starting and growing their own business, and providing products or services to customers who want or need them.

The accounting program offered through Colorado Northwestern Community College can provide you with the training you need to work as a bookkeeper, accounts receivable or payable clerk, and other entry-level positions in business. You can also increase your opportunities for the business world with new skills from an associate degree or certificate in accounting. You will learn all about:

    • Accounting Principles
    • Income Tax
    • Business Basics
    • Professional Communication
    • Excel
    • Microcomputers
    • …plus more!

There are two degrees for accounting:

    • Two-year Associates of Applied Science
    • One-year Certificate
