Our Civil Engineering Technology (CET) program is a new course of study at Colorado Northwestern Community College and is designed to help you shape how your community grows. The CET field includes not only the design studios of engineering firms but also standing with a construction crew over looking a hole deciding how to resolve an issue.
Your course of study will include surveying, drafting/Computer Aided Design (CAD), construction materials, statics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and water/environmental systems. These courses will prepare you for jobs in engineering firms, construction companies, government, and a host of other places. These courses are focused on the practical applications of engineering principles that will enable you to tackle any task at hand.
We also offer CAD Certificate and Surveying Certificate Programs. These are compact programs are designed to give you the skills to go to work immediately in your area of study. These programs are perfect for someone attending evening classes while they work to give them the additional skills they need to improve their value in the market place.

CNCC also has much to offer that will help you enjoy your college experience. Our college athletics, outdoor recreation programs and close proximity to some of the grandest displays nature has to offer, give you the opportunity to develop your personal interest as well as your academic interest.
Check out the website to learn more about our college and look at the details of the CET program. Don’t hesitate to contact me or our admissions staff to answer your questions or schedule a campus tour. I look forward to seeing you on campus.
Sincerely.
