Refresher Academy

*Prices Subject to Change*

A minimum of ten registered students is required for each Refresher Academy fifteen days prior to the start date of the academy. If the minimum number of students is not attained, all registered students will be informed of the class cancellation and refunds will be dispersed. However, if the student withdraws from the course within 30 days of the start date, no refunds will be granted.
It is our expressed hope there will be future interest in the continuance of this outstanding program. We have made every effort to provide the very best educational curriculum with the most qualified and distinguished instructors while keeping the cost at a minimum. The success rate of this course has been exceptionally high; our recent academy students are averaging 85% on the P.O.S.T. final examination.
Our Refresher academy meets or exceeds the Colorado P.O.S.T. minimum standards for refresher academies. We provide additional PPCT arrest control training that is not required by P.O.S.T. rules. The total cost is $1600, which is a one time payment in advance of the academy start date, prior to final acceptance to the Academy. The tuition includes required firearms ammunition, uniform shirts, hat, all textbooks and learning materials, skills performance tests, and the P.O.S.T. final examination fee ($125).  (Class size is limited to 18 students)

If you require housing for this course there may be dormitory style residence hall rooms available upon request through the CNCC Director of Housing at 970-675-3220. The residence halls have shared bathrooms and there may be college students living in the dormitory. Motels and hotels in Rangely are limited most times of the year so please make your reservations well in advance of the course date. The college has a cafeteria and the Bronco Café on campus and there are several restaurants in town.
