EMS Program Director, Bobbie Vetter, retired from CNCC in July 2005 after 20 years as South Routt Center Director and EMS Coordinator. After a trip to Alaska in 2006 the Vetters found themselves wintering in Arizona when CNCC called upon Bobbie to once again pick up the reins of the EMS Program.
Bobbie is a certified EMT-Intermediate with over 30 years experience as a volunteer with Routt County Ambulance and the Yampa Fire Protection District. She has served as a member of the State EMS Advisory Committee twice - in the 80s and again in the 90s. She has a BS in Education from Chadron State College and was for a number of years active with the EMT Instructor/Coordinator committee of the EMS Division of the Colorado Dept. of Public Health and Environment.
Bobbie is happy to be working with the EMS Education Program at CNCC. Emergency Medical Services has been her passion and she is excited to help students gain the education to serve their communities as EMS providers or to go on into a career in EMS.
