BREEDING FOR COLOR IN HORSES
This course will discuss basic genetics of coat color and the probability of achieving desired color. Students will learn how to calculate the odds of obtaining desired results as well as learn possible risk factors for certain color combinations. COST: $25

TACK AND SADDLE MAINTENANCE
Students will be presented with information on inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining tack for optimum life of leather and safety. Students will be made aware of conditions that might present danger to horse and/or rider. How to properly clean and oil leather horse equipment and when to replace or repair equipment will also be covered. COST: $40
