Industrial Electrician is a two-year Associate of Applied Science degree program designed to train students in the fundamentals of industrial electricity maintenance specifically for the mining and power generation industry.

Currently there are no post-secondary institutions in northwest Colorado that offer an electricians program. In cooperation with surrounding energy companies, we have identified a need to have a local program to address this problem. Graduates from this program are employable in a variety of areas, to include but not limited to; surface and underground coal mining; nahcolite mining; power generation; oil and gas drilling and production, oil shale mining, and private electrical contractors.
