Academy students graduate

As of Nov. 12, graduates from CNCC’s National Park Service are now eligible to apply for positions as Seasonal Law Enforcement Rangers in any of the National Parks in the United States.

College plans for budget cuts

Finals schedule changes

Phi Theta Kappa honor society accepting applications

During the fall semester, the group played Rangely, Glenwood Springs, Steamboat Springs and a community Craig team dubbed the “Craig Adults.” The commitment of college students and staff in Craig, Rangely, Glenwood Springs and Steamboat made these games possible, allowing students to enjoy the sport until late fall. › Continue reading

CNCC-Craig nursing program says its strength is the people involved

The Colorado Northwestern nursing class of 2011: Brooke Cape, Kelly Cashmore, Hestia Chase, Jeannie Dickey, Sarah Dills, Chelsea Dunne, Wenona Harper, Shannon Mayes, Amanda Moncrief, Christine Murray, Lisa Pawlowski, Michele Pepping, Rachel Piersol, Corine Schweikert, Scott Smith, Lindsey Stewart, Stephanie Weitzel, and Jennifer Wright.

Meagen Lish, CNCC freshman and prospective nursing student, chose nursing because she wants to be able to help someone if they are hurt.
“I don’t want to be helpless and watch someone die because I don’t know what to do,” Lish says.
For her and others like her, one education option is the CNCC-Craig nursing program, which seeks to provide a qualified nursing workforce to northwestern Colorado. › Continue reading

No home for Thanksgiving
