CNCC hires new baseball coach

CNCC recently hired a new coach to accompany Coach Lous’ expertise with a top of the line pitching coach; Greg Dupas.

Baseball players put in time now, hoping for spring rewards

With the 2010 regular season well underway, Spartan baseball players, coaches and fans are optimistic about the future. As is the case with many sports programs here at CNCC, previous years’ teams have had some trouble against the very competitive, nationally renowned Division I Scenic West Athletic Conference. CNCC Spartans baseball make spring debut in Yuma and Phoenix
Photos and Summary by Cesar RoblesCNCC Spartans baseball participated in the Caballero Classic Tournament in Yuma, Ariz. recently, as well as playing a game in Phoenix, where they went head to head with 6th in the nation team Central Arizona.
Despite falling short of a win against Central Arizona, the Spartans enjoyed the opportunity to get onto the field and play in warm weather after a long break during the winter snow.
Looking ahead, the team is preparing to play against Weber and Utah State in St.George, Utah in two weeks. Be sure to follow your Spartans baseball team on the CNCC website.
