Angel Mataia ReporterCasually checking the Billboard top 100 list on Billboard.com this weekend I saw, to my great disappointment, that 22-year-old breakout artist Ke$ha is at spot number 1 of the musical charts for her hit single “Tik Tok.”
And what’s wrong with that, you might ask? Almost everything. Ke$ha, formally known as Kesha (sans the dollar sign) Rose Sebert, has made bank off her album, ”Animal”, debuting at Number1 in countries such as New Zealand and Norway and now in the good ol’ U-S of A. For the few unfamiliar with Ke$ha’s work, let me offer up a lyrical sampling from the song “ Tik Tok:” “Before I leave, brush my teeth with a bottle of Jack, cause when I leave for the night I ain’t comin’ back”… That’s riveting stuff, right? It also provides a wonderful backdrop for your life so that you can find increased enjoyment from what you’re doing and reduce stress from your day.
