Family Dollar Store looks to open doors April 1st

Rangely’s new Family Dollar store is just about six weeks away from opening its doors. The store will bring some new job options to seeking students, as well as offer students on a budget amenities like socks, basic food items, and kitchen utensils for a reasonable price. Everything for just one dollar? Sounds too good to be true, right? But just wait until April 1, the big day in which Family Dollar plans on officially opening in Rangely.

Everything might not be a dollar, but it is going to be sold for low prices. Family Dollar is a place where you can go to buy food, clothing, and appliances such as socks, groceries, and spatulas.

Family Dollar is planning on making a impact on the communities and giving them another option, a place to shop at and buy food and supplies for a cheap dollar or a little more.

During the first two weeks of the Spring semester, new and returning students were welcomed by a week’s worth of student activities provided by the CNCC Student Housing staff as well as Student Senate.

RHS Homecoming gets Panther fans all riled up for game day

Rec Center a community, not just a college, pastime

   Finally, the kids will be back out of the house.

   The newly remodeled community Recreation Center in Rangely is finished and ready for business. The old Recreation Center was built in 1979 and gave the community a place to have fun and get healthy. With the old building having many problems and needing updates, the community voted and approved a bond issue in July 2008 to fund the remodel. The remodel started in August 2008 and just finished last month. › Continue reading
