Campus Security

In an effort to maintain a safe working and learning environment, Colorado Northwestern Community College has established a Department of Security. Notify security if you witness or want to report a crime that has occurred, or any safety related issues.

Services provided by the department include campus patrols, staff/student escorts, securing facilities in the evenings, motorist assistance, and assistance in emergency situations. Also maintenance of the lost and found.

Security officers check and lock the buildings from 8pm to 10pm Monday through Friday night.  Should they encounter any significant problems, they notify the police.

The Security Department along with the Criminal Justice Department is responsible for reporting the annual campus crime statistics:
