Agriculture Science Certificate

Agriculture Science Certificate

The Agriculture Science certificate is designed for students to receive a supplemental certificate during their associate studies. The certificate blends core courses in animal science, agriculture business, and general agriculture studies to help students understand and see the different aspects in agriculture. By taking these courses, it will help students determine additional areas of interest for future education or careers.

If a student is interested in receiving this certificate, they need to work closely with their advisor. One piece of the certificate that is not seen in the other associate degrees is the requirement of an internship. This internship allows students to apply what there are learning in the classroom to the industry of their choice. We have a lot of student who incorporate their internship with their families operation, or we work with student to help find an opportunity that fits their plans.

This certificate is also available through some of our concurrent education schools in our service area. Note: this is only available in NW Colorado.
