The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Nursing Degree is designed to be completed in two (2) years of full-time course work following completion of prerequisite courses. Following completion of the program, graduates are eligible to take the National Council of State Board of Nursing Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) to become licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN). The Faculty of the Nursing Program at CNCC believe that professional standards, guidelines, and competencies form the basis of a strong nursing curriculum. The nursing classes at CNCC reflect current, relevant and evidence-based nursing practice that prepares students to meet professional and workforce needs.
