Aviation Technology Program Application Procedure

Required Documents for Application:
- Medical Certificate
- 1st class is recommended, 2nd and 3rd classes are acceptable.
- Register your account with FAA MedXPress
- Contact an Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) in your area using the FAA Designee Locator
- Birth Certificate or Passport
- Government Issued Photo ID
- Driver's License, State-issued photo ID, Military ID, etc.
Required Program Materials:
- Pilot Headset (noise-canceling recommended)
- Pilot Logbook
- iPad Mini (at least 5 or above) with cellular capability for GPS
Note for International Applicants:
In addition to the above requirements for the Aviation Flight Program, international and non-U.S. citizen applicants must complete the CNCC International Student Application as well as the TSA Flight Training Security Program (FTSP).
International Applications must be received and approved through the CNCC Registrar's Office by no later than July 1st for Fall Semester applicants and December 1st for Spring Semester applicants. For questions on international student application requirements, please contact
