Aviation Technology Program Application Procedure

AVT Application Requirements:

  • While we do not have academic pre-requisites, we do recommend that all students are “College Ready” for Math and English to be successful in the Flight Program.
  • Students must be able to submit all required (and valid) documents.
  • International Students have additional application requirements.
  • A $500 Deposit is required to hold your spot (spaces are limited).

Required Documents:

  • Medical Certificate (first class recommended - click here)
  • Birth Certificate or Passport (U.S. Citizens, TSA Requirement)
  • TSA Flight Training Security Program (Non-U.S. Citizens, TSA Requirement)
  • Government Issued Photo ID (Driver’s License, Military ID, etc.)

Required Materials:

  • Headset
  • Logbook
  • iPad Mini (at least 5 or above) with cellular capability for GPS
  • Noise Cancelling Pilot Headphones (highly recommended)

Next Steps:

  1. Apply to CNCC
  2. Create your Flight Account
  3. Submit your (refundable) $500 Flight Deposit

  5. Apply for Campus Housing
    1. Contact the CNCC Cashier to submit your $200 (refundable) housing deposit
  6. Upload Required Documents for the Admissions Office
    1. Vaccine Records for Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR1, MMR2), and Meningococcal (Covid vaccines are recommended)
    2. Test Scores for ACT, SAT, or Accuplacer OR complete the Guided Self-Assessment for Math and English
    3. Official copies of transcripts MUST come directly from the student’s prior High School or College. If they are submitted by the student, they are considered unofficial.
