Our mission in Campus Life is to provide accessible, affordable, quality housing that contributes to our student’s acquisition of a quality education.

Department of Campus Life Vision Statement Colorado Northwestern Community College’s Campus Life programs and services create a positive environment that actively engages students in the collegiate experience and help to build school spirit, character, and morale throughout the year while residing in the residence halls.

Why should I live on campus? At Colorado Northwestern, we provide our students the opportunity for academic and personal growth. Our on-campus-living choices allow for our students to achieve individual growth through the following:

  • Establish life-long relationships
  • Participate in academic and social programs
  • Convenient access to classes and campus resources
  • Restricted access to non-residence

Holiday Break Shuttles: A shuttle will be running Friday, December 17th from Rangely to Grand Junction, leaving at 8am. The returning shuttle will be on Sunday, January 9th arriving in Grand Junction at 12pm. Last shuttle of the spring semester will run Thursday, May 5th leaving Rangely at 8am.

Shuttle Services 2021-2022 The Department of Campus Life provides shuttles to and from Grand Junction Regional Airport for students needing transportation to and from campus. Rates for the shuttle are dependent upon the number of students taking the shuttle. The shuttle schedule below details the shuttles and their corresponding times. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer shuttle services outside of the times listed. Fall Student Arrivals Wednesday, Aug. 19th 12:00 pm – Depart Grand Junction Airport to Rangely *** This shuttle is for new students attending New Student Orientation only

Saturday, Aug. 21st @ 12:00 p.m. – Depart Grand Junction Airport to Rangely *** This shuttle is for returning students

Rangely Housing

Colorado Northwestern-Rangely offers a safe place for students to live, while making the most of their social and academic lives. The Rangely campus has three residence halls that house the majority of our students, making living on campus a convenience and a great way to get involved! Our Residence Halls are: Ross - Nichols - Holland

  How do I apply to live in the Residence Halls?

  1.  Apply for housing by clicking here, or by scrolling to the bottom of this page.
  2. Once your application has been received and processed, you will receive a confirmation email for your application submission. If you do not receive a confirmation email by the following week, please contact the Department of Campus Life at (970) 675-3220.
  3. Contact the Cashiers office at (970) 675-3278 to pay your $200 housing deposit. The hours of operation for the Cashiers office is Monday – Friday 9 am to 4 pm. In order to reserve your application spot, your housing deposit must be paid.
  4. Following the confirmation of payment of your housing deposit, you will be assigned a residence hall room. You will be notified of your room assignment in the month of July. All housing assignments are made on a first come, first serve basis.

Craig Housing

The Craig Campus of CNCC offers off-site apartment housing, available for full-time students. This less traditional style of housing allows for students to live in a more independent, yet home-like environment. Located near campus, the furnished apartments have two bedrooms, one bathroom, a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer set. Each apartment is setup as quad style living area. The first floor units have patios and second floor units have balconies. Our apartments include a dining room table and chairs, a couch, and twin sized beds. There are two students assigned to a bedroom. Availability of space and housing are limited and served as a first come first serve basis. Utilities and parking are included. With a full-time housing / Campus Life Director, and a growing list of student activities, the apartments make for a safe, rich college experience. This residence life option is eligible for financial aid.

Founded in 1962 as “Rangely College,” CNCC now serves nearly 1,800 students on two campuses, two service centers and online.
