Pre-Engineering Transfer Plans of Study

CNCC’s Pre-Engineering transfer plans of study prepare students to succeed at Colorado’s best engineering colleges and universities.  Our inexpensive program is designed for students who are interested in studying engineering but want to start this journey at a community college.  This plan of study will help pre-Engineering students complete their general education core course requirements in the Department of Arts and Sciences.

Students who complete the pre-Engineering plan of study at CNCC and receive their AS degree can transfer to one of Colorado’s four-year engineering bachelor’s degree programs.  Our plans of study with one of Colorado engineering bachelor’s programs have institution specific requirements.  Students should meet with a pre-Engineering academic advisor to review these plans of study to ensure the student completes the correct core requirements.  The completion of these core requirements opens the student to the over 25 major specialties of engineering, including chemical, mining, aerospace, and mechanical.

CNCC has a variety of pre-Engineering courses that are available both on campus and online.
