Ron Granger President of Colorado Northwestern Community College

Welcome to Colorado Northwestern Community College.  By visiting our website you have taken the first step to improving your work skills, advancing your career, and providing yourself with opportunities you have never had before.  At CNCC we are proud to be able to offer programs that will help you improve your life. So if you are looking for a degree in technical education, want to improve your skills, or are wanting to transfer to a four year institution, we have the programs you need.

For more than 50 years CNCC has been able to help thousands of students achieve their dreams of an education.  With the diverse populations we serve, we have built our programs around the needs of our students and our communities and are constantly looking at ways to provide excellent programs that will prepare our students for the future.  With unique programs such as aviation maintenance, aviation technology, massage therapy, dental hygiene, cosmetology, mine safety, marine science and National Park Service, we provide the people of Colorado and all over the western United States with opportunities that are difficult to find anywhere else.

Besides the credit programs we offer, CNCC has a variety of community education and workforce training opportunities for individuals and businesses throughout the area.  We feel it is essential for us to be a part of growing the economies in the communities by providing training that will give the employees and the businesses the knowledge needed to be prosperous in the future.

Our exceptional faculty and staff are here to provide you with all the tools you need to be successful and are always available to answer questions or help in any way they can. Because we are a small college we can provide our students with more one on one guidance than most colleges throughout the west and pride ourselves on putting our students first.  The experiences you get here will be the foundation you need to be “the best you can be” in anything you do in your life.

Colorado Northwestern students get a complete, and unique, college experience. With our student clubs and activities, athletics, residence halls, and outdoor adventure possibilities; we offer opportunities for all students to enjoy as they learn.  With campuses in Rangely and Craig, service center in Meeker, and online education, we can meet the needs of students no matter where they live.

I encourage you to look through our website and contact one of our faculty or staff members.  Learn how Colorado Northwestern Community College can help set yourself apart from the crowd and be exceptional. We look forward to calling you a Spartan in the near future.

Ron Granger
